Arzen

OVERVIEW

Arzen entered the market with multiple hardware products under development, Dashcam, Smart Tracker, Smart Glasses, and Smart Ring yet lacked any foundational UX strategy, design system, or ecosystem architecture. No interfaces, no identity, and no user flows existed at the start of the engagement.

“What was the core problem?”

The initiative required designing the entire experience ecosystem from the ground up, including:

  • A holistic brand and visual identity system

  • A multi-device companion app with scalable information architecture

  • The complete web experience for product communication and commerce

  • Marketing, packaging, and launch ecosystems

  • Cross-functional alignment, feasibility evaluations, and iterative user testing

  • A full end-to-end demo environment for stakeholders and partners

The project demanded rigorous system thinking, cross-platform coherence, and a deeply integrated product-development workflow.

Where do you begin when nothing exists?

The first step was establishing a shared understanding across engineering, product, and leadership. Co-creation workshops clarified constraints, hardware capabilities, and user journeys.

This led to defining a North-Star Experience Vision for the entire ecosystem.

A. Branding & Visual Identity

A complete brand design system was created, color tokens, typography, grids, iconography, and UI components. This system established the semantic and visual backbone for app, web, packaging, and marketing.

  • Logo architecture and usage constraints

  • Scalable color tokens and contrast-safe variants

  • Typographic hierarchy mapped to content density and platform use

  • Iconography system optimized for micro-UI environments

  • Motion principles to communicate system responsiveness

  • A modular UI component library supporting multi-device complexity

How does one app support four completely different devices?

B. Unified Multi-Device App

A modular app architecture was developed using reusable UI patterns and predictable onboarding frameworks. Each device received a tailored experience without breaking ecosystem consistency.

Key flows include:

  • Device onboarding

  • Real-time monitoring

  • Notification center

  • Account creation

C. Product-Specific Flows

1. Dashcam

Designed a clear and safe interaction model for driving scenarios with live feed, recordings, AND emergency triggers.

The Dashcam’s core flows were designed around cognitive load reduction and safety principles. The interface prioritizes glanceability, low-distraction patterns, and clear event-driven states.

Website design

Designed Arzen’s website, including the full Dashcam product page which is now live on

Arzen.net.in

  • A modern, tech-forward landing page

  • Store detail pages

  • A fully developed Dashcam page (now live)

  • Feature storytelling sections

  • Responsive layouts for mobile and tablet

  • Visual assets and micro-interactions

The goal was to make the product ecosystem easy to understand while maintaining a premium, cohesive brand experience.

Physical world aligns with the digital

The physical identity - packaging, retail material, launch banners was designed to match the digital experience. This ensured continuity across unboxing, marketing, and point-of-sale environments.

A cohesive offline identity was developed to extend the UX beyond screens:

  • Retail packaging system

  • Launch banners and promotional visual language

  • Social and marketplace creatives

  • Stakeholder and investor presentation design

  • High-fidelity product demo

Cross-channel consistency strengthened the brand narrative during the product launch cycle.
